Today I learnt something I feel is important. The logic behind<\/div>\n
all the grants and the funds. I got the information from my <\/div>\n
Entrepreneurial Finance textbook actually. It changed my thinking<\/div>\n
to be able to see things deeper.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
End goal: To get more VC funding into the country<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Problem: Not enough companies for VCs to invest in<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
So now what?<\/div>\n
-Spur the growth of startups though lots of grants for different industries!<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
From what I typed, it would seem to be so simple. but from the<\/div>\n
perspective of an individual who is receving this grant, one would<\/div>\n
wonder, why is the government encouraging entrepreneurship?<\/div>\n
This I think would be one key reason. these small startups attract <\/div>\n
big money. =)<\/div>\n
