Starting the coastal skipper today. Reached the marina early.<\/p>\n

Did a tight manoeuvre practice to do a turn in tight space (e.g marina) trick is to hard to port\/starboard as boat is moving forward then switch to reverse gear, boat will slow and also turn at the same time. When boat is coming to a stop do a forward burst of 2-3 secs before switching to neutral then reverse again then boat will continue turning on the spot. Quite a neat trick!<\/p>\n

Also practiced reversing boat into markings in transit (forms a line to show you are inline with the items in transit) and tacks and gybes.<\/p>\n
