TSD Day039: 再次回返城隍庙！

星期五刚去城隍庙！ 可惜去迟了！庙关了！不能上香，
没办法！这一次很早就合Gary 和 Vincent (Michelle的
朋友) 一起去！还做了印章给朋友！真不错！
 
过后还去了外滩走走。拍了白天的珍珠塔！很美哦！走了
大半天也没什么有趣的。 就回家了！然后和 Vincent 一起
去做按摩，松松胫骨。哇！不得了。要是不听师夫的话，
很有可能把骨头折断！不过现在想想，还是蛮舒服的。
 
过后都在做我的十字绣！咳！有点“娘”的感觉。不管了！
还是把它快点做完！ 

TSD Day 38: In Conversation!

Today was essentially a day for In Conversation. An event by SHEN
to invite entrepreneurs or people experienced in doing business with
the Chinese for a sharing session with us! hehe!
 
We met at a brazilian restaurant at  FUN factory and listen to Urgen’s
talk on the brewery business for about half the day till about 2-3pm.
the food is so-so. But Urgen’s experience is pretty interesting and he
did share with us a lot on his thoughts on the chinese culture and how
to adapt at it and even gain a competitive advantage out of this culture!
 
Rested a while at home and went to the gym after that. Woah! to my
surprise, I saw 蓝教练！I was thinking… shit! 这次手又要断了！He is  a
really good trainer and I like his style! did weights and gona meet him
again for lower body workout this coming Mon! hehe!
 
Went home shag and tired! did cross stitch till I fell asleep! Yay! finishing
soon! Tomorrow going to 城隍庙 to pray! Heard from Mum its the 15th
of the lunar month! =)

TSD Day 037: Yay! Non-working day: Fudan Day!

今天不用上班！是去复旦的日子！嘻嘻！能不那么早起身，
偷得浮生半日闲何尝不是一种享受！我想我会先去去健身馆
锻炼锻炼！

锻炼了后还在我最喜欢的沙县买了水饺和拌河粉！还看了《不能说的秘密！》
（我想在此向Gary 和Alex道歉， 没等他们）可是没想到， Coco 就约我出去了！
本来说好在静安寺见面， 可是因为没沟通好所以最后还是没见。我就自己去了城隍庙！

本来只想去城隍庙， 可是却发现原来豫园也在此！所以两个地方都去了！走着走着，
我发现了有个刻印张的店，就在那里讨价还价了许久，便一口气买了7个印张送些朋友。
不便宜，不过我觉得这些朋友值得我花这些钱！最后当我到城隍庙的时候已经关了。没办法！
不能上香，只是在那里看了看面相和手相，照他说的， 好像我会有个蛮精彩的一生。
不过这种东西也别太沉迷，虽然他说的蛮准，不过我还是半信半疑。最后还是给了他50块就走人了。

 唯一值得安慰的是， 我买了很好吃的小龙包！真的很不错！后来还去了外滩！那里风景真的很不错！
放眼望去，都是一栋栋壮观的建筑，一望无际，真是令人对上海的发展叹为观止！
我还在外滩那里请了个画家帮我画了个像！这个画像的过程十分有趣。画到一半为了逃公安，
我还跟着画家在马路上！哈哈！而且还在那里继续画！真有趣！还是第一次碰上这种事！
最后问了路，才到家，烫了衣服才睡觉！很累， 不过非常开心！=）

TSD Day036: Looking forward to the weekend! (English!)

Arrrr… Wake up!!! Just ONE more day to the weekend! Thats
what I told myself when I literally CRAWLED out of bed this
morning at 630am! Left the house at 715 and reach office at
about 750am! Gosh I am early! haha!
 
WORK!
Prepared the DTC meeting at 830! and did the minutes by 10am!
hehe! I am efficent alrite! Did my DTC, manage to send out the
mail to update the world link site and tying down who to update
what. It’s crazy! the names of the doctors are all over the place!
doing a check on my own will be suicidal! Since I do not even
know what doctors are there, or who are our valid insurance
partners! Luckily they are helpful enough to update the relevant
porttions of the site!
 
EAT!
When to buy lunch together with Lulu! haha! She wanted to treat
me! but I declined. Not very nice to receive treats from people 
when you did nothing. But I bought a grape flavoured HI CHEW!
and treated it to my colleagues! hehe! NICE!
 
PLAY! (then work again! Harder!)
Managed to tag along with Lily and Inga(German) for a trip to the
immigrantions centre for the passport collection. Went on to work
on the EVEN finer details of the website. Also did a bit of the SHEN
website! hehe!
 

TSD Day035: The Driver for Change!

不知不觉已经过了35 天了。。时间过得真快，我也渐渐的
开始习惯这里的生活， 这35天的生活节奏。
 
打从我在新加坡时, 我就告诉我自己一定要用这一年好好的
努力，奋斗，一定要在有限的时间，发挥人类无限的潜能！
一定要好好学习领导和成功人士的思维。
 
今天， 我做了DTC, 也把刷新网页资讯的流程做好了！之差
没和各单位联系。真是的！ 他们忙得都没空应酬我！
 
午餐在MAUI COFFEE 吃饭！是请客哦！叫了个日式咖喱饭！
不错！
 
下午的时候，都在重新设计ＳＨＥＮ　的网页。　还没好，
等好了一定大张旗鼓的宣布！嘻嘻！
 
放工后，就去了去健身馆锻炼锻炼。还不错！
 
晚餐当然在我们最爱的沙县！＝）
 
我们讨论过了！十一的时候应该会去福建！嘻嘻！

TSD Day 034: 我的第一个华文的entry! (entry 华文怎么说？）

大家一定觉得很奇怪：为什么我这次会写华文呢？ 写得又慢，还有可能写错（真丢人！）
不过这是为了练一练我打华文字的速度
 
在公司！
今天在公司一整天把人力资源与管理的过程设计成一个（我认为）很专业的流程！ 
 
午餐（6元！）！
我现在才知道什么是大浑和小浑。就是多点肉和少点肉的分别。午餐还好，就是咸了点。
（我心想是不是厨房太热，厨师的汗。。。咳！还是别想了。。。 快吃吧！）
 
继续工作！
哇！真的很累人！ 脑都快想爆了！没想到，在我终于把流程做完后， 想要歇息片刻，
Lulu 就突然在我写这个Blog 的时候出现。咳！没办法。。 偷懒被戴个正着，就只好
马上去把那些我们那天公司的千岛湖有的照片可在DVD 上。
 
更惨的是，我从明天开始， 在接下来的两个星期，都要为每天的Daily Team Meeting
写minutes….天啊！哈哈！其实开玩笑啦！
 
我认为现在做的事，都在逐渐的让我更进一步的了解公司的运作。让我更接近我的梦想
和目标！
 
回家！
原本能很快到家！因为我1745 就走了！可是人算不如天算， Jane 竟然打电话给我，需要
我把明天在会议要用的录音机拿回来。。。我心想“天啊！”没办法， 总裁有急用， 他
说的算。 所以7 点多才到家。
 
晚饭（6元）+剪头发（15元）！！
在沙县吃晚餐真棒！又经济又实惠！才花了6元就能吃河粉加个蛋， 还有云吞！也真是不枉此
生！ （有点夸张！不过真的很好吃！）
 
过后还和 Gary 和 Alex 一同去理发！ 不错嘛！15元特价！嘻嘻！蛮好看的！ 15元= 洗+剪+吹
还有一点点按摩！ 真的好满足！ 
 

TSD Day 033: Back to Office!

Slept at 1+ last night. hehe! So happy to be back in Office! haha!
Blogged for like the past entries that I missed. haha! Morning in the
office was pretty normal. the exciting part was what happen after
lunch! hehe! Whatever it is, I am glad to be able to see the call centre
people! they are a great bunch of people! I think their team dynamics
should be an example of what the entire organisation should follow!
 
Lunch!
Lunch is at the usual cheapo lunch box place! hehe! I think I have
developed a liking for the store, its food (even though abit salty)
and the 老板娘！
 
After lunch! Parkway 一号！
After lunch, was lucky enough to be able to be asked by boss to join
him in a trip to a secret mission. Its a mission so secret, I cant even
tell u here. (If I tell you, I’d have to kill you! haha!) But was on this
vehicle to help out in the backend operations. there’s like printer
power points and laptops inside! Some are even able to surf the net!
Cool! Like some spy mission. was helping to do translation on the fly!
 
Also managed to see how boss discusses the strategies together with
the team and how we execute the stuff together! hehe! I think this
is an eye opener! haha! Love the operation!
 
After work
Went to the gym… arrgghhh… my arm!!! muscle ache! cannot take it!
very painful… haha! but pain is good, extreme pain is extremely good!
after that went to my favourite 沙县 and got some dumplings… shared
them with Alex and Gary along with some instant noodles! hehe!
Good stuff! haha!

TSD Day 032: 杭州游！- 绍兴！

The Trip to Shao Xing!
Today things went pretty smoothly! Arrived at Shao Xing at about
9. I think its a pretty good start. Went to visit 鲁迅 ‘s home. He
is a very famous man especially in chinese literature! Bought a
statue of him there! The other thing is, I have also tasted: Smelly
beancurd! 臭豆腐！First time in my life! I heard it originated from there!
hehe! Interesting!  Went around the area after that and then to
East lake! 东湖！ haha! so funny!
 
I personally like East lake better than the West Lake… ITs very nice!
Also manage to know friends from Hei Long Jiang! 黑龙江！Very nice
people! Shall go there when I go HArbin soon! hehe! I think its really
interesting to know them! hehe! They are pretty good friends! haha!
Gave them a pack of 姑嫂饼! very meaningful to them coz it reflects
their relationship.
 
After West lake was Lunch! pretty good! The tour guide brought us to
this restaurant that costs only 20 rmb per pax for lunch! had a super full
and nice lunch! woah! Went to one more location and I bought some
Shao Xing Wine 绍兴花雕酒！ there! hehe… for 20 rmb… after bargaining
of course! After that begin our journey back to a Long jing tea session and
another silk show… haha!
 
TRAIN!
Went to the station after that. Had Dinner in the station. Very lousy food!
After that checked in. I realised that if I paid 5 rmb more, I can
stay at the resting room and have priority queue to board the train! hehe!
sommore got Movie and people serving tea… haha! nice!
 
HOME!
Finally reached shanghai… missed the train… the Taxi queue is crazy…
super long.. went out to the streets instead… finally got back home,
un pack and SLEEP! haha! Damn shang… but extremely happy! hehe!
I am so glad I went on this trip. made me more confident on self trips!

TSD Day 031: 杭州游 – 乌镇！

The Trip
Woke up at 615am in the morning! hehe! To take the tour bus
to Wu Zhen! Its a water village with a rich history! There was
some misunderstanding and we did not get to the bus till like
about 8+. During the journey there, we also had a free sampling
of the famous tea, not long jing龙井茶, but white chrysanthemum 白菊茶!
Its very refreshing! I like! But did not buy.. haha!
 
Went on to visit Wu Zhen! Very nice place! Abit like Venice. I
would say its the Venice of the east. Went with Fang Yi’s friend:
Wang Jing, who is interning in his company. Visited the house of
famous people like Mao Dun and also went to the temple of
Gui Gu Zi. I bought their famus product: 姑嫂饼！ not bad! haha!
abit like dried 芝麻糊！
 
LUNCH!
Went to one of the restaurants in Wu Zhen for lunch! Not bad!
Had their famous 红烧羊肉！Pretty good actually. Especially when
I am someone that doesn’t really eat lamb. After that we came back to
Hang Zhou for a Silk exhibition and fashion show (included within the tour).
 
Went to Zhang Jie’s office after that. I discovered an AMAZING
product of theirs! its called Bei bei! 备备！IT’s an amazing product
to help backup information of your mobile phone while you are
recharging it! very interesting. uses a hardware to make it happen.
I think there a few aspects that is similar to Tencube’s service.
except one is hardware and the other is software. You guys really
have to checkout www.budiu.com ! I REALLY want to get their product!
super useful. they are in the midst of making my phone a compatible
model in their range of supported models! hehe! Thanks guys!
 
Dinner!
I think I enjoy Dinner the most! With Jennifer (Zhang Jie), Fang Yi
and Kai Lin and their colleagues in their startup! ITs real nice and
fun! Also joined them in the brainstorming session. interesting!
 
WEnt home tired. about 11+. Bathed and slept like a log.
 

TSD Day030: 浙江游- 杭州！

Journey to Hang Zhou!
Today I begin my visit to Zhejiang via a Bullet Train! hehe! I took Line 3 to 上海南站
station. For your information, Zhejiang is a Province in China and Hang Zhou is one
of the cities within ZheJiang. (Saying it just in case some don’t know, like me!)
The train is cool! Takes only about 1 hr 15mins to get to Hang Zhou! The moment I
arrived, the first thing I looked out for is the ticket counter to get my ticket to get my
ass back to Shanghai by Sunday night. Thank God I got it! hehe! (At 38RMB!) This
bullet train ticket is 50 RMB with another 15RMB for delivery.

On Arrival!
When I got out of the station, the first person I saw was ZHANG JIE! hehe! 真够朋友！
She brought me to their office MR Tech! It’s call 每日科技! Its the holding company for
their successful creations like Xiadan.com and Beibei! (I’ll talk more about beibei in my
later entry!) We went for lunch together! hehe! really thankful for them showing me around
Zhejiang University! ITs a great place! I saw another of Chairman Mao’s Statue. This time
with his arm on up. Went to get the tour packages to Wu Zhen 乌镇 and Shao Xing 绍兴
(This are other cities within Zhe Jiang).

Exploring Hang Zhou!
The first place I went to was 灵隐寺！A very famous Temple in Hang Zhou! I hired a tour
guide (that’s 10 RMB) to eplain to me the praying processes within there. I was told the
methods of prayer and got to know that there are actually 5 halls in the temple housing
different gods and prayer for different purposes (e.g. health, fortune etc). Great place! I
prayed in the 5 temples according to a stated order and got out of the temple. Also bought
an ornament that has my nick on it. Bought one for Dore too. It reads: "智智" and "祺祺".

Went to 岳王庙 after that. Temple in honour of the famous general during the Song Dynasty:
General Yue Fei. It’s ok only.But I finally saw the evil couple (Qin Kuai I think) that plotted
against Yue Fei and eventually his death. The statue of this evil couple is the same as what I
saw in my primary school text book! So happy to see the REAL stuff! hehe! Bought a set of
chinese chess for (10RMB there as well!)

After that I went to the 西湖 (West Lake) area and went to 孤山 as well. Saw many various
attractions and statue. but too bad most are closed as I was too late. Had dinner there as well
Its some pieces of sausage and rice in lotus leave. After dinner, I walked and walked to another
place… finally I went to the musical fountain! hehe! A very interesting place! hehe! FULL of
people and couples along the west lake actually. Only I am alone… haha! But I enjoy touring the
place alone… the tranquility… arrr… along with the wind and the beautiful scenary. =)

HOME! (not mine, theirs, but I am equally excited!)
Went back to the office to meet up with the Zhang Jie’s friends who bought me to Fang Yi’s home
(HE has gladly let me stay in his house! thanks!) Had a few game of chess before calling it a day!
Tired from all the walking, but happy!
