“For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” Steve Jobs

TMDay1461: Goodbye Mahesh…
今朝プールでいきました。そして仕事を続きました。頑張ります!
今天游泳了。之后继续做事!继续努力!
Went to Mahesh’s prayer session today. I didn’t know he was Sikh until now. It was also good to meet up with Vincent. Understood from Mahesh’s brother that he had lung cancer (stage 4) that spread to his bread. At first, things seemed to be recovering when it was discovered in Nov 2014. By Jan 2015, things were fine. But there was a relapse and he spent the last 6 months fighting for his life. He also shared (with Vincent) that he lose the use of his limbs sometimes and begin to slur when talking. My heart sank. As the prayer continues, my short but memorable scenes with Mahesh kept playing and replaying on my mind. I feel helpless. I feel sad. But I also know I need to learn from this and become better and really watch my health. I miss you Mahesh. I hope you are in a better place now.

TMDay1459: RIP Mahesh
Today I heard about a really good ex-colleague and friend of mine: Mahesh Induru passed away. He was 37. I heard that it was due to lung cancer, he also had a tumor in his brain. I am really really sad and depressed to know about this.
I knew Mahesh (马黑士) during my first job in IDA. He was full of passion and am determined to make things work. Through him, I learnt alot of project management skills and how to defend the team and work together towards project success.
He then moved on to be the General Manager in Mig33 and I last heard he was the Managing Director in iBuy (a popular group buying site). Whenever I met him, he was always full of enthusiasm about the future and worked very hard to climb up the corporate ladder. He was someone I could look up to and he is always wiling to share with me how I should progress in my career. He even shared with me about his investments on what homes to get and his wedding plans.
My regret was that I was organising a meet up earlier this year but we reschedule to meet later due to other commitments. Wish we hadn’t.
I am really sad to know that has passed on. He will be missed.
