Today I had a long long day at work after going to the company directly

from Fudan…. I am soosososososoooo happy that I finally met up with

the team from Biz Buzz! yay!!! haha! So now finally we have gotten enough

people to for 2 teams for the 72 hour business case competition on 8 Dec!

 

Haha! This is a codename for our project in the company!!! haha! I am soso

happy to be part of this project! helping Rie has thought me much! or at least

I think it will! haha!

 

Today was the first meeting! Had discussion with Fred, Joyce and Erik. Also

the contractors are involved! this is really intersting! haha! I am begining to learn

teh basics of setting up a clinic… the amount of licensing involved seems quite

intimidating for anyone to start a business… haha!

 

I missed a networking event though.. because I worked overtime to get the minutes

out for this project… haha! but I am glad my fishes are all with me! =)

Today I bought a old and dusty lamp from the house.

It was left unused by the seniors because there is no bulb.

Lucky for me, I bought it to office and it fits my Sunglo Blub!

haha! now I have a professional looking aquarium and can keep

it warm all the time!!! haha! Sooo happy!!! =)

 

Finally done with the Organisation Chart today. Moving on to

help Rie with setting up the Japanese Clinic! yeah! haha! So happy!

Also going to introduce Rachel’s friend to the IT department! haha!

 

Today I ran and ran and ran in the Gym!!! Havent been running for

a long long time! finished 5km… but my legs are like…. not mine… haha!

Today I went to Gleneagles. Nice place! Visited the office,

Also interviewed Shanon. The coffee there is really not bad! =)

Discussed with Shanon a little on the company and interests

and such. Also he have pretty good comments on the book I am

currently reading: The 7 habits of highly effective people.

 

Went back to office after that to finish more interviews! Intend

to go to Luwan and Jin Qiao tomorrow to do more interviews for

Dr. Seah’s presentation. Interviewd Dr. Fred, Anna and more.

 

During the time in office, I see Dr. Seah’s executive assistant,

taking over Denise: Claire. I also had a bit of a chat with Dr. Seah.

He shared with me a little on gaining knowledge, little things that

made a big difference: to lunch with different people everyday!

 

In the evening, I had a meal with Caren! Have to thank her for the

treat she gave me. We discussed a lot of issues in the company

and she shared with me alot of her personal experiences she gained

prior to coming to the company. I felt that I have gained another

new perspective and that I begin to see how the different issues

in the company fit in.

 

I begin to see why certain people respond to certain people differently

and how they can have different personal agenda. Although i know

this it is important to understand the dynamics (aka Politics) in the

company, I will keep the bigger picture in mind. Shall use the

understanding of these issues to my advantage.
